During the month of April, spring is (normally) in the air and many are thinking of better ways to do more for the environment. Earth Day can also offer time to reflect on the things already being done to help protect and preserve nature.

As part of the Metrolinx Sustainability Strategy, there are many initiatives the organization has taken on to become more climate resilient, reduce energy use and emissions, in addition to minimizing the impact on local ecosystems.

President & CEO Phil Verster took some time to highlight a few of the actions Metrolinx has taken to reduce its environmental footprint.
