There’s no better view than above it all.

So here’s the latest drone footage taken of surface sections along the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (LRT) route.

The flyover, taken by Metrolinx’s project builders, Crosslinx Transit Solutions, shows the progress on the Toronto system. That includes cool shots above Leslie Street, and Sunnybrook Park Stop, as they’re able to compare what it looked like in July 2019 versus now.

There are other ‘then and now’, side-by-side images throughout the flight, that also captures a good look at construction crews on the job.

But what really comes across are the diverse neighbourhoods, as well as how Crosstown connects a vast piece of urban landscape.

And for those who haven’t been out for some time, it’s interesting how traffic is moving again in Toronto.
