Back-to-school food drive in support of Yellow Brick House

The Metrolinx Yonge North Subway Extension team is proud to partner with Yellow Brick House of Richmond Hill for a back-to-school food drive.

Yellow Brick House provides essential services and prevention programs to women and children fleeing domestic violence and abuse. Our team is supporting their annual back-to-school initiative by collecting donations of school supplies and nutritious nut-free snacks, along with certain grocery items to support families in need.

You can help by dropping off nut-free snacks and juice boxes to the Metrolinx community office at 295 High Tech Road from now until Tuesday, August 5. We are collecting:

  • Nut-free granola bars
  • Unsweetened applesauce or fruit cups
  • Nut-free crackers or pretzels
  • 100% juice boxes
  • Fruit snacks or dried fruit
  • Instant oatmeal packets
  • Mini cereal boxes

Visit yellowbrickhouse.org to learn more or make a donation.
