Metrolinx is committed to ensuring the safety of you, your family, and everyone who supports your journey, from start to finish.​ From our real-time Text-For-Help service, to safety upgrades made at our stations, to our Transit Safety staff available 24/7 across the network, we have measures in place to ensure your security and safety so you can travel as your true, authentic self.  For tips on how to stay safe across our network, click here. 

 

Safety across our operations

Metrolinx is introducing a Body‑Worn Camera program for Customer Protection Officers, Revenue Protection Officers, and Station Safety Ambassadors to uphold safety and trust for everyone. The program is supported by strong governance that protects privacy and complies with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Learn more here.
