We asked for your feedback on the new GO Transit park and ride lot in Courtice, Ont., and you answered.

Including hearing from CJ Smith, who has more time on her hands thanks to the new spots. The transit advocate, and This Crazy Train blog author, says the new lot is shaving 10 minutes off her commute, plus reducing the amount of gas she uses.

In January, GO Transit started servicing new park and ride lots at Ritson Road in Oshawa and Courtice Road Station in Courtice, providing much-needed transit solutions to Bowmanville and the surrounding area.

“It’s super convenient. I like how the station is set up that you can park on cold days, wait in your car out of the wind, and get out when the bus is coming. Signage at the station could be better. People miss the turn to get into the lot and stay straight on the roadway and wind up in the bus loop. I didn’t have a problem but that was probably because I walked it when it was being constructed.
