Trains will run every Saturday, Sunday and holiday Monday as part of regular weekend schedules. GO customers will be able choose from four trips to Niagara and back.

Niagara Region chair Jim Bradley says Niagara’s tourism sector employs more than 40,000 people that rely on visitors from the Toronto area and the reintroduction of weekend GO Train is a positive step in the right direction.

“We are pleased to see the return of weekend GO Train service into Niagara as we continue to take steps to recover from the effects of COVID-19,” says Bradley.

Safety Never Stops

From face coverings to enhanced cleaning measures, safety is a partnership. With everyone doing their part and having patience – transit users can get to where they’re going – and back again – safely. You can read more about the new safety measures introduced by Metrolinx in their handy customer walkthrough guide here.

With plenty of warm summer weather left, the transit agency says reintroducing weekend train service to Niagara Falls allows  GO customers to safely discover the beauty of their own backyard with family and friends.
