Metrolinx is ready to hold another series of virtual open houses for the Ontario Line project.

With a project the size of the Ontario Line, there are bound to be questions. Whether they’re about travel time savings, station locations, managing construction impacts or how to get involved, Metrolinx is committed to answering them.

In addition to ongoing engagement through email, phone calls and individual meetings, virtual open houses give teams a chance to share updates with larger groups and get feedback from people they may not have otherwise heard from.

This round of meetings will also focus on the transit corridor lands that will soon be created for the Ontario Line, similar to what was done for the Scarborough Subway Extension and the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension back in April.

Metrolinx teams will provide an update on the project and go over what transit corridor lands mean for those who own or occupy property on those lands. Participants can submit questions in advance or ask them during the meeting, in which a panel of Metrolinx experts will give detailed responses. Here is the rundown of the upcoming virtual open houses and the areas they’ll be focussing on.

• Thursday, June 10 – West segment: Exhibition, King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina
• Thursday, June 17 – Downtown segment: Osgoode, Queen, Moss Park, Corktown
• Thursday, June 24 – East segment: East Harbour, Leslieville/Riverside, Gerrard
• Wednesday, June 30 – North segment: Pape, Cosburn, Thorncliffe Park, Flemingdon Park, Science Centre
