We have new images that show large concrete and structural steel work on the Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit (LRT) route. But it’s a picture from inside Keelesdale Station, showing just a row of glass panes that really focused our attention.

It’s the glass railings inside the main entrance, and while only a glimpse, it gives an insider view of what Toronto customers will see every day, while using this stop long the 19-kilometre light rail corridor.

As well, at Caledonia Station, here’s a recent image of formwork going up in preparation for pours of concrete which will form interior walls.

Then onto Kennedy, you can see installation of structural steel which will form the new entrance building has now been completed.

It’s all progress on a big scale. But it’s in the glass that we saw the reflection of journeys to come.
