A temporary water service shutdown is required to safely connect the new infrastructure to the existing water distribution system. This process helps prevent leaks, protects water quality, and ensures the connection can be completed safely and efficiently. Once the work is complete, the system will be tested and returned to normal operation. Properties on De Grassi Street from Queen St. East to Wardell Avenue will be impacted. Every effort will be made to minimize the duration of the interruption and restore service as quickly as possible.
