Jane-Eglinton Station and Jane portal
A new elevated station on the north-west corner of Jane Street and Eglinton Avenue West will provide easy access to nearby parks and trails, improving pedestrian and cycling connections to transit. Entrances close to the intersections on both the west and east side of Jane Street will provide easy connections to bus stops for TTC bus routes 32, 35 and 935.
To the east of the future station is the Jane Street portal, located along Eglinton Avenue West, east of Jane Road. The portal will serve as the transition point between the 1.5-kilometre elevated segment of the line and the eastern underground portion of the route, and will connect to Line 5 at Mount Dennis Station.
The portal site is where tunnelling on the eastern tunnelled segment began, with crews moving east towards Mount Dennis Station.
