Let’s GO to The Ex
The Canadian National Exhibition runs from August 18 to September 4, 2023, at Exhibition Place in Toronto. It’s been an end-of-summer tradition since 1879.
And the best way to get to ‘The Ex’ is by taking the GO Train.
Exhibition GO is just steps from Exhibition Place and with the weekday group and weekend unlimited passes, it’s also to the most economical way to get there.
As always, kids 12 and under ride free on all GO Trains and GO Buses.
And just in time for the CNE, more service is returning on the Stouffville and Barrie Lines.
More GO Train service is being added outside of rush hour on the Stouffville Line in both directions on weekdays between Union and Mount Joy GO. Hourly service also returns on weekends.
Barrie Line customers can expect additional train service outside morning and evening rush hours as well as weekend service between Union Station and Aurora GO.
Finally, late-night trips that usually only run on Fridays and Saturday will run all week for Lakeshore East and West Line customers during the CNE.
Remember to plan your trips before setting out on any summer adventure. Check GO Train schedules, look out for any GO service updates and you can even sign up for real-time service updates from GO Transit.
