GO Transit and the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) are teaming-up to get fans to and from the 108th Grey Cup this Sunday (Dec. 12).
Westbound GO trains will be arriving at West Harbour GO throughout the day. Fans with tickets to the game will board free HSR shuttle buses to Tim Hortons Field starting at 3:30 p.m.
There will be signs at West Harbour GO directing fans to the shuttle buses. Staff will also be on site to help.
HSR will provide free service on these shuttles, regularly scheduled routes, and Accessible Transportation Services (DARTS) for customers with a valid 108th Grey Cup game ticket. West Harbour GO will be one of four starting points for the shuttles.

The Grey Cup is not only the biggest Canadian Football League game of the year – it also has the biggest crowd. Fans should make sure to plan ahead and get to the station extra early, leaving more time than usual for travel as well as COVID-19, security, and ticket checks.
The stadium gates will all be open at 4:00 p.m. with plenty of entertainment scheduled before the 6:00 p.m. start. For more information on game day activities, click here.
Lakeshore West GO schedule for Grey Cup weekend
GO Transit is also adjusting its train service to help fans get home after the game.
The last scheduled eastbound train trip of the night will depart West Harbour GO at 11:32 p.m., making all stops to Toronto’s Union Station.
Fans starting their day east of downtown Toronto will find service on the Lakeshore East line adjusted throughout the weekend for important construction work. Buses will replace trains on part of the line. To figure out your journey, use the GO Transit trip planning tool or find station specific schedules here.
GO Transit offers easy “pay before you board” options:
- A convenient GO Transit e-ticket can be purchased online – including the $10 GO Transit Weekend Day Pass
- Vending machines are available at stations to purchase a paper ticket
- Mobile users – with both Android and iPhone – can instantly load funds and passes onto their PRESTO cards
The team of GO Transit and the HSR is making it easy for fans to get to the big game.
