Toronto from up high - Finch West LRT shown in new drone images
We continue to show progress on the Finch West light rail transit route and the local communities.

Northwest Toronto never seemed so high up.
We have a new crop of recent construction photos from the Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, and the views are fairly spectacular – and informative. The images show ground-level toiling on key work that will support the 18 stops across 11 km. of rail.
From these pictures, we can see piling work for the portal of the future stop at Humber College has started. On the parking lot, storm sewer construction continues.
Even traffic going by doesn’t have a good vantage point to see how much work is being done. These drone shots give a better idea. (Michael Fayehun photo)

And at Finch Ave. W., looking east from Hwy. 400., you can see the large Maintenance and Storage Facility (MSF) on the left side of the picture and how traffic configuration changes at Norfinch. You can also see the construction area for the wet utility around York Gate Blvd.
