Lost the keys to the Batmobile? Take the GO Train instead.

FAN EXPO Canada is around the corner, and Metrolinx is bringing new ways for customers to enjoy the event.

Kicking off on Aug. 25, FAN EXPO Canada is a convention bringing together thousands of sci-fi, horror, anime, comic book and gaming lovers around the world. It runs until Aug. 28 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and includes events and celebrity guests.

Metrolinx has launched a partnership with FAN EXPO Canada, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC to create some new options for GO and FAN EXPO customers – including a specially-themed PRESTO card.

DC Collectable PRESTO card

For the first time, Metrolinx is introducing limited-edition, DC themed PRESTO cards – which will be available at FAN EXPO Canada.

The PRESTO cards are collectable items, with designs created by four renowned DC artists: Jason Fabok, Tim Sale, Yanick Paquette and Gary Frank.

There are five different design options available, each representing a fan-favourite DC character. Options include Superman, Wonder Woman, The Joker and two designs featuring Batman.

5,000 collectable PRESTO Cards will be available at the Metrolinx booth Aug. 25 to 28 (while quantities last). They cost $35 plus tax.

Getting to the event

Fans can also purchase a GO Add On ticket to make it more convenient to get to the event.

The GO Add On Ticket includes a round-trip GO Transit fare from any GO Station to Union Station. To purchase the ticket, simply add it on during checkout.
