The Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (LRT) system is showing its strength in two recent images.

At the Rail Corridor near Mount Dennis Station, structural steel is going up and the GO platforms are taking shape. The platforms will connect riders from the GO and UP Express to the Eglinton LRT, making the station an essential transit hub for Toronto.

As well, the northwest entrance at Leaside Station is growing taller every day. It’s now more than halfway to street level, with crews currently focused on pouring the interior walls.

So yes, more strength of character for an important next-generation transit system for the city.
