GO Train on the tracks

Kitchener Line GO Expansion

Woodbine GO Station

A new transit hub coming to the City of Toronto.

Woodbine GO is coming to north Etobicoke and will be located along Highway 27 between the existing Etobicoke North and Malton GO stations, connecting customers to the Kitchener GO line and UP Express service.

This new connection point will help customers get where they need to go – whether it be Pearson International Airport, Union Station in downtown Toronto, Humber Polytechnic or a major entertainment destination like Woodbine Racetrack.

Once built and operational, Woodbine station will replace the existing Etobicoke North station, which will be demolished to accommodate a new fourth track and signal upgrades to enable more service along the Kitchener corridor.

As part of GO Expansion, this new station supports Metrolinx’s plans to deliver more service across the network, including the capacity to offer two-way, all-day service on the Kitchener GO line.

Early works construction on Woodbine GO station is now underway. Once complete, the station will bring a new, reliable transit service to the City of Toronto, connecting more people to transit stations and stops throughout the region.
