To Appear In Court Today

Jahmore Walker White, 27, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with assault, and is scheduled to appear in a Toronto court today (July 16).

Bill Grodzinski, Security Director of Transit Safety and GO Transit’s Chief Special Constable, said the Metrolinx employee is doing alright, but still recovering.

Grodzinski praised the cooperative efforts of law enforcement, including TTC Special Constables as well as the TPS. He also commended the many citizens who came to the staff member’s aid, following the assault.

He stressed Metrolinx’s zero tolerance toward violence aimed at transit staff, as well as customers, and stressed that everyone’s safety is paramount.
