What is Happening?
Significant construction and rehabilitation work planned for select station, bridge and track infrastructure along the Lake Shore West corridor will require the increased capacity of the Don Yard train facility to accommodate all GO and UP Express trains.
As such, there will be additional train movement to and from this location outside of our general operating hours. Work crews will keep associated movement and storage impacts to a minimum when and wherever possible.
What to expect
- Work areas will be clearly marked or fenced off to ensure public safety.
- Due lack of sufficient wayside power, some trains will be idling overnight.

- Residences and businesses in the area may experience noise caused by this train storage activity.
