As part of ongoing Scarborough Subway Extension construction, crews will be starting Support of Excavation activities within the work zone at the northeast corner of McCowan Road and Nugget Avenue. This work will include piling and pouring concrete for underground foundational structures. Piling involves inserting concrete columns into the ground to reinforce the soil.
