Join the Scarborough Subway Extension Construction Liaison Committee

Metrolinx is inviting people with strong connections to Scarborough communities, businesses, organizations, and local networks to express interest in joining the Scarborough Subway Extension Construction Liaison Committee (CLC).

The CLC will bring together up to 15 members from across Scarborough to discuss project activities, community impacts, and opportunities during construction. Members will share feedback from their communities, organizations and networks, and help keep Scarborough informed as the project progresses.

The CLC is an advisory group. It will help Metrolinx better understand community perspectives and local impacts, but it does not approve, reject or direct project decisions, design or construction activities.

The committee’s focus

The CLC will focus on topics related to the Scarborough Subway Extension project, including project progress, upcoming construction activities, traffic impacts and construction vehicle routes, business and community supports, project benefits, hoarding art and community events arts and culture, accessibility, and other topics that affect communities across Scarborough.

To apply, complete the survey below by July 12, 2026.

After the deadline, a Metrolinx selection panel will review all submissions. Selection will consider connection to Scarborough, community involvement, availability, and the goal of creating a balanced committee from across the project corridor.

All applicants will be notified of their results.

CLC meetings will occur quarterly. The first CLC meeting is expected to take place in person in September 2026. Meeting details will be shared with selected members.
