Tour of the Don Yard and Distillery District Station

Corktown Common (Corner of Bayview Ave and Mill St)

How do you build new transit infrastructure where rivers, highways and railways meet?

Join us for a guided walk through the Don Yard and Distillery District Station areas, where some of the Ontario Line's most significant construction is taking shape.

Explore one of the largest construction zones on the project and see how this critical section of the line will connect underground tunnels to the existing rail network. Along the way, you'll learn about major engineering milestones, including the installation of the Lower Don Bridge and where the tunnel boring machines will eventually end their journey.

What to expect:

This guided walk will explore:

  • The installation the Lower Don Bridge and the role it will play in carrying Ontario Line trains across the Don Valley.
  • Explore the neighbourhood surrounding the future Distillery District Station and learn how construction is reshaping this growing part of Toronto's east end.
  • Along the way, our team will share construction updates, project insights, and future renderings to help you visualize how today's work will become tomorrow's transit network.

Bring your curiosity and your questions!
