What is Happening?
What to expect
- Upcoming activities will include continued trackwork, landscaping and boulevard restoration, traffic signal switchovers from temporary spans to permanent signal infrastructure, LRT stop installation and the installation of LRT overhead catenary poles and cable lines.
- Additional project activities will also include LRV testing and energization of LRT stops as the project advances.
- Hurontario Street facing driveways to properties may be intermittently impacted during this duration.
- Some of this work may be scheduled overnight and on weekends for a variety of reasons including lower traffic volumes and weather-related impacts.
- Construction lighting may be visible from the work site. Where possible, lights from equipment will be positioned away from residential homes to keep light pollution levels low.
- Trucks and construction equipment may generate dust during construction. Crews will take precautions to monitor and reduce dust.
- Increased presence of construction vehicles and equipment can be expected in the work area.
- Work areas will be clearly marked or fenced off to ensure public safety.
- Please exercise caution around active construction sites.
- Driveways may be intermittently impacted in the area.
- Work may be delayed or rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Traffic Changes
