Overnight Track Work Preparation Between Foxhill Drive and Ridgefield Crescent

What is Happening?

Crews working on behalf of Metrolinx will be completing track and infrastructure work in the corridor in preparation for future double tracking between Rutherford GO and Maple GO.

From November 2 to 12, crews will complete overnight preparatory work within the rail corridor, including material and equipment deliveries and track construction activities. During a scheduled major track closure from November 13 to 16, work will be 24 hour continuous allowing crews to complete critical track and signal upgrades safely without live trains passing through. Overnight activities will resume from November 16 to December 4 for final track adjustments, utility installation, equipment removal, and site cleanup.
