What is Happening?
As part of the ongoing Davenport Diamond Greenway project, crews will be working within the Barrie GO rail corridor to prepare the area for future bridge installation. Part of this work includes extending the ramp at the entrance to the rail corridor on Campbell Avenue.
Activities will include using light machinery such as a bulldozer and excavator to grate and compact the ground to extend the ramp area. As a result of this work, the entrance to 350 Campbell Avenue will be closed for up to two days. Once constructed, the ramp will remain in place until the bridge is delivered and installed. The ramp will not obstruct access to 350 Campbell Avenue.
