Metrolinx and the province bringing more transit to Toronto.
Oct. 14 - Construction has begun on the highly anticipated Caledonia GO Station, a key addition to Toronto’s transit network.
Located on Eglinton Avenue just west of Caledonia Road, the fully accessible station will create a new key transit connection within the city, helping reduce congestion.
New transit connections
Caledonia GO Station is more than just adding another stop on the map. It’s about creating seamless transit connections that make travel easier and more efficient for everyone.
The station will link GO train customers to TTC bus routes and Line 5 Eglinton (Eglinton Crosstown LRT). This will give customers more options for reaching their destinations, whether they’re commuting to work, visiting family or exploring the city, ensuring a smoother, more affordable journey.

Station amenities
The fully accessible station will directly connect customers to Line 5 Eglinton service at Caledonia and TTC buses located at the south-west area.
A new west platform with a snow melting system, platform canopies, heated shelters and digital signage will ensure comfortable customer experiences throughout the year.
For customers looking for alternative ways to get to the station, 64 bicycle spaces will be available.
Additionally, customers can expect convenient self-serve access to PRESTO and ticket vending machines for their daily trips.

Station Access
Caledonia GO Station is designed with accessibility and convenience in mind. Customers will be able to move between the west platform and Carnarvon Street via an accessible multi-use path.
A new pedestrian tunnel linking the west platform to Bowie Avenue and the York Beltline provides an easy route to the east side of the station.

Improving transit in the region
Caledonia GO Station is which will benefit transit users and the entire region for decades to come.
GO Expansion is well underway, with $13 billion already invested in station upgrades, new stations and tracks.
