What is Happening?
The Yonge Street Gardiner off-ramp closure is necessary for establishing additional electrical connections for the Union Station Enhancement Project trailer compound located at Yonge and Lakeshore East.
What to expect
- Increased presence of construction vehicles and equipment can be expected in the work area.
Traffic Changes
- The Gardiner off-ramp exit to Yonge Street will be closed for periods of time during the work. Signage will redirect traffic around the work zones.
Pedestrian Access
- All pedestrian sidewalks will remain open throughout the work.
Noise and Vibration
- Crews will take measures to minimize disruptions to the surrounding area wherever possible.
Transit Service
- There is no anticipated impact to transit services.
