Beginning August 14, 2026, preliminary construction will take place in Union Station at the track level to support enabling works for GO Expansion. To facilitate the construction of wider, more accessible platforms, crews will remove the train canopy over tracks 11 and 12 (pictured). Preparatory work includes installing construction hoarding at track level to support the removal of the canopy over Tracks 11 and 12 in December.
