What is Happening?
We will be carrying out daytime and overnight work within the Union Station Rail Corridor, in the location shown on the map, on the following weekends: September 12-13, September 19-20, October 3-4, October 31- November 1, November 14-15, and December 5-6. Each of these weekends will be preceded by overnight activities where we will position equipment to get ready for the work, which will take place during a full major track closure.
What to expect
- Construction lighting may be visible from the work site.
- Where possible, lights from equipment will be positioned away from residential homes to keep light pollution levels low.
- Increased presence of construction vehicles and equipment can be expected in the work area.
Traffic Changes
- No disruptions to traffic are anticipated.
Pedestrian Access
- All pedestrian sidewalks will remain open throughout the work.
Noise and Vibration
- Residences and businesses in the area may experience noise and vibration caused by construction equipment related to this work.
