Train on the Lakeshore West Line

Lakeshore West Line GO Expansion

Hamilton GO Centre

Enhancing GO stations across the network.

As part of GO Expansion, we’ve started renovation works at Hamilton GO Centre to enhance safety, accessibility and support more service.

These renovations will provide critical access, safety and customer experience upgrades at the station and help bring us one step closer to a more connected Greater Toronto and Hamilton Region.

GO Expansion is anticipated to substantially increase ridership growth and fundamentally change the way people use GO Transit to get where they need to go. Improving infrastructure at existing stations is essential to support population growth, meet increased ridership demands and move more people across the region faster, safer and more efficiently.

Hamilton GO Centre is an active station currently under construction for an improved customer experience. For more information on project phases, please check out our project lifecycle page.
