15-minute weekend service returns to Lakeshore West Line
Service will increase between Oakville GO and Union Station starting at 15:00 on weekends
Apr 14, 2026
Starting May 2, more frequent service between Oakville GO and Union Station returns on weekend midday and evening trips.
Due to crewing constraints and the need to rebalance resources, service on the Lakeshore West Line was reduced to 30-minute frequency on weekends in November 2025.
As always, we will continue to monitor ridership and service demand, adjusting as needed.
