Lakeshore East Line GO Expansion

Galloway Road Grade Separation

Building a new road-under-rail connection at Galloway Road.

We're building a new road-under-rail grade separation at Galloway road, in partnership with the City of Toronto.

Galloway Road will be lowered beneath the rail corridor, eliminating the existing level crossing, allowing vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists to travel under the railway tracks. This will also create space for future railway track and other infrastructure improvements along the Lakeshore East Line.

Improvements to the multi-use path, sidewalk, and dedicated bike lanes will also enhance connections through the community.

Upgrades to Galloway Road grade separation are currently underway. For more information on project phases, please check out our project lifecycle page.
