We need to position our work trains so they are available for use during the overnight track closures on the Lakeshore East railway corridor. In the run up to these closures, we will be maneuvering our work trains into the sidings in the location shown on the map above, between Greenwood Ave and Woodbine Ave. This will happen overnight when there are no passenger services running on the Lakeshore East corridor. We have shown more time than we expect to use as we cannot forecast exactly when the work trains may be entering or leaving the sidings. These brand-new trains represent a significant improvement on our previous trains and will result in shorter and more efficient overnight work in the coming weeks.
