What is Happening?
We need to undertake geotechnical investigations to test the soil conditions along the planned Bowmanville Extension route. These investigations are required to confirm geotechnical conditions at critical locations to help inform the design of future infrastructure upgrades that will improve transit in your community.
What to expect
- Increased presence of construction vehicles and equipment can be expected in the work area.
Traffic Changes
No disruptions to traffic are anticipated.
Pedestrian Access
- All pedestrian sidewalks will remain open throughout the work.
Noise and Vibration
- Residences and businesses in the area may experience noise and vibration caused by construction equipment related to this work.
