As part of preparatory work for the future Stockyards Station, crews will begin removing portions of the existing noise wall along the Metrolinx right-of-way near Brickworks Lane. This work is required to facilitate future construction activities, including berm removal and station platform construction. Temporary fencing will be put in place of the removed noise wall panels. Temporary fencing will also be erected at curb level along the Metrolinx right-of-way to establish the construction work zone. Metrolinx is currently reviewing plans related to the four (4) curbside visitor parking spaces located further north along Brickworks Lane. Should any temporary parking restrictions or stall removals be required, Metrolinx will provide advance notice to property management, and vehicles parked in the affected spaces will need to be relocated prior to the restrictions taking effect.
