Better station access

Navigating the station is simpler, whether on foot, bicycle or car.

Additionally, the passenger pick-up and drop-off area has been relocated and is just steps to the next train or bus.

A new Dissette Street pathway and Bridge Street sidewalk provide better access to the station. A new exit and entrance at Dissette Street, equipped with a traffic signal, improves traffic flow.

Clearly marked pedestrian crossings and renovated parking lots add to the ease of movement around the station.

Bradford GO still has plenty of spaces for cyclists.

A reserved bicycle parking room, bicycle shelter and racks mean more options to help make customer journeys easier.

Other enhancements

Upgrades also include improved station lighting and CCTV cameras, enhancing safety for all users. An upgraded stormwater management system ensures better collection of rainwater to channel it away.

Improving transit in the region

Bradford GO Station improvements are part of the GO Expansion program.

GO Expansion is well underway, with $12 billion being invested in projects to add new stations, more tracks and faster trains. This will bring faster, more frequent train service to the region. Two-way, all-day service, seven days a week will give customers the flexibility to plan trips easily because the next train will always arrive soon.
