Go westbound – because now there’s new rail down in that section of the Brentcliffe Portal.
Recent images from Toronto’s Eglinton Crosstown’s light rail transit (LRT) project showcase how crews have finished installing tracks in that stretch of the portal – the yawning underground tunnel-opening located at Eglinton Avenue East and Brentwood Road.
Meanwhile, in other developments along the Crosstown line, at Chaplin Station’s southeast entrance, crews are erecting structural steel and installing the decks at the second and roof levels.
And at Mount Dennis Station, the architectural works at the bus terminal have been completed.
So new track for the light rail vehicles and progress for bus passengers as well – check and check.
