Metrolinx, in partnership with the City of Mississauga, completed the Port Credit GO Mobility Hub Study in November 2011. The study developed a long-term vision for the Port Credit GO Station and surrounding lands. It assessed and developed concepts for redevelopment of surface parking into structured parking integrated with development, high quality connections to a future Hurontario LRT, and improved connections to the surrounding areas. The study is available below.

Mobility Hub Profile
The Station Redevelopment
The Port Credit GO Mobility Hub Study yielded opportunity for redevelopment at the Port Credit GO Station. Redeveloping the site will bring improved station facilities while better connecting retailers, employers and residents with frequent and reliable transit options. Focusing growth and development around major transit stations promotes increased ridership, allows more people to live near transit services and makes more destinations accessible by transit.
Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx have entered into a tendering process to select the team to develop and deliver new station infrastructure at the Port Credit GO Station.
October 2015 – Metrolinx consulted with IBI Group, with support from the City of Mississauga, to develop the Port Credit GO Station Southeast Area Master Plan; this is the first stage of a comprehensive design and planning approvals process for future development of the lands.
July 2015 – The Request for Qualifications process has concluded. The qualified proponents are now taking part in a Request for Proposals process:
- FRAM Kilmer Developments Ltd.
- SEED (Sun Life Financial, Edenshaw Developments & EllisDon Capital)
March 2015 - Request for Qualifications Issued for the Port Credit Station Redevelopment
