Innovative Public Engagement: Unconference

Metrolinx is pleased to announce that we are now working with Remarkk! Consulting, the public engagement firm that created the Toronto Regional TransitCamp unconference in February 2007. As described in the Harvard Business Review, Remarkk! will use innovative open source problem-solving tools (including the “unconference”) to bring together an array of stakeholders across the GTHA to begin online dialogues and collaborative face-to-face exchanges about the future of the region’s transportation system. The project will offer yet another opportunity for passionate community members to get involved through creative ‘meetings of the minds’ in open, online forums and face-to-face brainstorm meetings.
